Intune / Application Packaging Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Intune/Application Packaging Engineer Miami, FL.

Summary:
We are seeking an Intune/Application Packaging Engineer to support enterprise endpoint management and software deployment initiatives. This role will be responsible for packaging, testing, deploying, and maintaining Windows applications within a large-scale Microsoft Intune environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with application packaging, PowerShell scripting, endpoint management, and modern workplace technologies while partnering closely with infrastructure, security, and desktop engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Package, deploy, and manage Windows applications using Microsoft Intune
* Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Win32 (intunewin) application packages
* Develop PowerShell scripts for application installations, uninstallations, detection methods, and deployment automation
* Configure application assignments, dependencies, supersedence rules, and deployment rings
* Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of application deployments
* Collaborate with Desktop Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure successful software releases
* Support application lifecycle management, including updates, version control, and retirement strategies
* Develop and maintain deployment standards, packaging documentation, and operational procedures
* Troubleshoot endpoint management, software delivery, and application installation issues across Windows 10/11 environments
* Assist with modernization efforts and migration initiatives related to Intune and endpoint management technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment
* 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune experience
* Experience creating and deploying Win32 application packages
* Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
* Experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune environments
* Strong understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
* Proven troubleshooting experience related to software deployment and endpoint management
* Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
* Experience with Windows Autopilot implementations
* Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
* Experience migrating application deployment processes from SCCM to Intune
* Experience supporting large enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
