SAP GTS Consultant (Global Trade Services)

Contract Position

 

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant with strong hands-on implementation and configuration expertise to design and deliver SAP GTS solutions.

The consultant will be responsible for supporting global trade compliance, customs processing, export controls, and preferential trade management. The role requires strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and external customs brokers or customs filing systems.

 

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  1. Strong hands-on experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) implementation and configuration.
  2. Proven experience in end-to-end SAP GTS implementations.
  3. Strong expertise in the following SAP GTS modules:
    • Customs Management
    • Compliance Management
    • Preference Processing
  4. Strong understanding of international import/export processes and global customs regulations.
  5. Experience implementing SAP GTS solutions across multiple countries and regulatory environments.
  6. Hands-on experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA.
  7. Experience with electronic customs filing and external customs broker interfaces.
  8. Strong knowledge of global trade compliance, export controls, sanctions screening, and customs processes.
  9. Experience in business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  10. Ability to work with business stakeholders and provide functional guidance throughout implementation.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Inward Processing / PUCC experience.
  • Bonded Warehouse operations experience.
  • Experience with global trade regulatory requirements and customs authorities.
  • Experience with third-party trade compliance and broker platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP GTS solutions.
  • Manage Customs Management, Compliance Management, and Preference Processing functionalities.
  • Integrate SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA and external customs/broker systems.
  • Support import/export compliance and international trade operations.
  • Configure customs processing, export controls, and preferential trade management.
  • Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Support deployment, go-live, and post-implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with business teams to improve global trade compliance processes.
