Job Summary

Value Technology is seeking an experienced Oracle WebLogic Administrator with strong expertise in WebLogic 11g/12c and Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies such as SOA and OSB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of WebLogic environments while supporting enterprise-level applications. The role involves working closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure stable and high-performing middleware environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle WebLogic Server 11g/12c and later versions across development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide administration and operational support for Oracle Fusion Middleware applications including SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
• Install, configure, and maintain WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, node managers, and deployments.
• Perform application deployments (EAR, WAR, JAR files) and environment configuration.
• Monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools and perform performance tuning and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WebLogic servers, middleware applications, and integrations.
• Perform WebLogic server upgrades, patches, and migrations across environments.
• Develop and maintain WLST scripts for automation and administration tasks.
• Participate in the design, implementation, and support of multi-tier heterogeneous enterprise applications.
• Provide production support and incident resolution within defined SLA requirements.
• Assist in monitoring application processes, services, and system tools to ensure high availability.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to support new project implementations and system enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT industry with strong WebLogic Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server 11g/12c and later versions.
• Strong experience supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as SOA Suite and OSB.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring WebLogic environments.
• Experience in WLST scripting and automation.
• Experience with WebLogic server upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Knowledge of middleware architecture, clustering, load balancing, and high availability.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills

• Basic understanding of Networking concepts.
• Knowledge of Database administration and integration with middleware applications.
• Experience with Okta or any Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Exposure to security configurations and authentication mechanisms in enterprise environments.
