Research Engineer specializing in 5G/6G wireless communications, 3GPP standardization, and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC). This highly technical role offers the opportunity to lead research, contribute to global wireless standards, and advance next-generation communication technologies.
Job Duties
- Develop technical contributions for 3GPP RAN1, RAN2, and RAN plenary activities.
- Conduct 5G/6G and ISAC research supporting connected and vehicular mobility.
- Propose and lead wireless communications R&D projects.
- Participate in 3GPP meetings and other standards organizations, including SAE, ETSI, and IEEE 802.
- Collaborate with internal and external research partners.
- Prepare invention disclosures, technical presentations, and academic publications.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- R&D experience in wireless communications and ISAC.
- 3GPP RAN1 delegate or back-office support experience.
- Strong patent background in 5G NR technologies.
- Expertise in Layer 1 and Layer 2 wireless communications.
- Strong knowledge of 4G LTE, 5G NR, and 3GPP standardization.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
