Job Overview:
The Scrum Master is a leadership role responsible for guiding Agile teams to deliver value consistently while fostering continuous improvement. This position involves leading Agile ceremonies, mitigating delivery risks, coaching teams and product partners, and ensuring alignment with enterprise Agile standards. The Scrum Master demonstrates strong leadership, a deep understanding of the team's work, and actively drives focus, flow, and accountability to achieve predictable, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies to achieve clear outcomes and delivery commitments.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and Engineering partners on Agile practices and behaviors.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of team backlogs, priorities, and value delivered.
  • Protect team focus by managing scope, dependencies, and unplanned work.
  • Drive continuous improvement using metrics, retrospectives, and coaching plans.
  • Meet with Product and Engineering partners to review team maturity, metrics, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Resolve team conflicts within one sprint using facilitation techniques and updated agreements.
  • Guide teams toward effective work breakdown by ensuring user stories meet DoR and DoD.
  • Provide real-time coaching to improve Agile practices, flow, quality, and predictability.
  • Identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies, surfacing risks early and resolving them proactively.
  • Maintain an impediment backlog in JIRA and drive resolution within the sprint to prevent delays.
  • Create JIRA dashboards and automation to visualize team performance trends.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Scrum or Agile experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Experience facilitating Agile events and driving team alignment.
  • Training or experience in influencing and coaching teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Agile metrics tracking.

Pay Range: $63 - $66
