Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex data and cloud transformation projects centered on Snowflake and AWS platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale data initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data platform and cloud migration projects involving Snowflake and AWS.
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Oversee Snowflake data warehouse implementations, optimizations, and integrations.
• Manage AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, EC2, and IAM in project delivery.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and budgets; provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and tools.
• Vendor and stakeholder management, including third-party integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience managing Snowflake-based data warehousing projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS ecosystem (S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, etc.).
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration tools.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data governance, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
