Job Title: Senior Oracle Forms Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Forms Developer to support a critical migration and upgrade initiative. The role involves enhancing and stabilizing existing custom-built Oracle applications following major platform upgrades.

The primary focus will be to ensure seamless functionality of Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, and Reports after upgrading to the latest Oracle technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, fix, and optimize existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications post-upgrade
Perform code remediation to resolve compatibility issues between Oracle DB versions
Upgrade and support:
- Oracle Database to 21c
- Oracle Forms from 12c to 14c
- Oracle Reports to 14c
Troubleshoot and enhance PL/SQL code
Resolve reserved word conflicts and compile errors
Improve report performance and data visualization
Work with Oracle WebLogic Middleware 14c
Develop scripts for automated testing and validation
Support code deployment, version control, and release processes
Identify and fix security vulnerabilities post-upgrade
Collaborate with stakeholders and provide clear technical communication

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Oracle Forms Development
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Oracle Forms & Reports 14c
- Oracle Database (preferably 21c upgrade experience)
- PL/SQL development and troubleshooting
Experience with Oracle WebLogic Middleware 14c
Proven experience in application migration and upgrade projects
Strong understanding of code remediation and performance tuning
Experience with UI design in Oracle Forms
Knowledge of version control, branching, and deployment methodologies
Ability to create automation scripts for testing
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in large-scale Oracle upgrade/migration projects
Familiarity with security remediation post-upgrade
Experience in performance tuning for reports and database objects
