Job Description:
A SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect designs and optimizes enterprise level data storage solutions mapping business needs to technical architectures Key responsibilities include designing data models tables loading patterns indexing strategies optimizing SQL Server TSQL performance and ensuring data integrity
Core Responsibilities
Architectural Design Develop end-to-end data warehouse structures within Microsoft SQL Server
Data Modelling ETL Design logical physical data models and robust ETLELT workflows
Performance Optimization Tune SQL queries indexes and stored procedures to ensure fast data retrieval
Governance Security Define data standards security policies and documentation to ensure compliance
Collaboration Work with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications
Key Qualifications
Experience 10 years in data warehousing data engineering or solution architecture
Technical Expertise Expert level SQL Server TSQL and query plan analysis
Data Modelling Proficient with data modelling and tools like ER Studio or Erwin
