Summary

As a Business development manager, you will be the first point of contact between our firm and potential clients. This is not a "churn and burn" sales role. You will spend your time researching high-growth companies, understanding their technical pain points, and initiating meaningful conversations.

You will work closely with our Senior Account Executives and Technical Leads to learn the nuances of the IT landscape and develop a sophisticated sales toolkit.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research prospective clients through LinkedIn, industry news, and networking databases.
  • Outreach: Execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social selling to introduce our services.
  • Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to assess a prospect’s current IT infrastructure and business needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records in our CRM Salesforce to ensure no lead is left behind.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the technical team to tailor service proposals for high-value prospects.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on IT trends (Cloud, SaaS, AI) to speak confidently with CTOs and IT Managers.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Grit: A resilient mindset. You view "no" as a learning opportunity and are motivated by hitting targets.
  • Technical Curiosity: You don’t need to be a coder, but you should be excited about how technology solves business problems.
  • Cultural Fit: We are a small team. We value autonomy, transparency, and a "no task is too small" attitude.

Why Join a Boutique Technology Firm?

  • Mentorship: Direct access to the leadership team and founders.
  • Impact: Your contributions are visible and directly tied to the company's growth.
  • Growth Path: Clear trajectory toward Account Management or Senior Sales roles within 12–18 months.
  • Flexibility: We have a flexible work schedule and a focus on results over hours logged.
