Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Android native development and test automation using Kotlin and a proven ability to design, build, test, and release high-quality Android applications.

Responsibilities:

·         Design and build native Android applications for phones and tablets.

·         Participate in the full app lifecycle, including concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.

·         Design and implement application updates and new features in partnership with product and design teams.

·         Ensure application quality, performance, and reliability to specifications.

·         Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects before release.

·         Drive best practices for continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.

·         Write and maintain documentation for features in development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

·         Typically, 5–7 years of professional Android development experience.

·         Extensive knowledge of Android Studio and the Android SDK.

·         Proficient in Kotlin, REST/Web Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and XML.

·         Experience with code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket.

·         Knowledge of C-based libraries and Android NDK concepts.

·         Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience with continuous integration and unit testing for Android.

·         Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong troubleshooting skills.

·         Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
