Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Observability and Telemetry expertise to support enterprise monitoring, data analysis, and operational intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with telemetry systems, observability platforms, and streaming data technologies to improve system reliability, performance monitoring, and proactive alerting.

This role requires a strong understanding of technical architecture, data flow, and troubleshooting complex production environments while working closely with operations and engineering teams.


Required Skills

  • Strong Telemetry background with understanding of SNMP traps, polling, and EMS systems

  • Good understanding of technical architecture and data flow

  • Experience with streaming data platforms such as Kafka

  • Proficiency in Splunk or ELK Stack query optimization

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Previous operations or production support experience

  • Ability to analyze telemetry data and determine effective alerting strategies

  • Understanding of AIOps / MLOps concepts

  • SQL knowledge and experience

  • Experience with Time Series Databases

  • Python scripting/programming experience


Nice to Have Skills

  • Understanding of video delivery systems

  • Knowledge of internet content delivery

  • Experience with AI / Machine Learning technologies

  • Ability to deliver executive-level presentations


Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain observability and telemetry monitoring solutions

  • Analyze telemetry data to detect system performance issues and anomalies

  • Develop optimized Splunk and ELK queries for monitoring and log analysis

  • Work with Kafka streaming data pipelines for telemetry processing

  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve monitoring, alerting, and operational efficiency


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Observability, Telemetry Engineering, or Operations roles.
