Job Description
Domain translator between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. Maps lender, fintech, bank, and insurer workflows into ontology structures for the semantic layer. Translates seven context domains (credit, income & employment, identity, automotive, utility, partner data, CRM & events, customer proprietary data, alternative credit data) into graph entities, properties, and relationships. Owns requirements documentation, domain modeling, and acceptance criteria definition.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements from business and technology stakeholders
- Map credit decisioning, portfolio management, lost sales analysis, and prescreen workflows into ontology structures
- Translate business domains into semantic graph entities with clear properties and relationships
- Define acceptance criteria for deliverables in collaboration with QA and architecture teams
- Create and maintain domain glossaries, data dictionaries, and mapping documents
- Facilitate workshops with SMEs to resolve definition conflicts across domain boundaries
- Support proof-of-value scoping for customer data platform
- Define derived metrics, KPI standards, and self-serve BI enablement requirements
- Produce user stories, workflow diagrams, and process documentation for sprint planning
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably credit/lending domain
- Strong understanding of credit bureau data models: tradelines, attributes, scores, consumer vs. commercial
- Experience with credit decisioning workflows, underwriting processes, and regulatory frameworks (FCRA, ECOA, TILA)
- Ability to translate complex business processes into structured data models or ontology representations
- Excellent documentation skills - user stories, process flows, data dictionaries, acceptance criteria
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across business and technology teams
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Direct experience with Experian Ascend, TransUnion OneTru platforms, and Equifax Ignite
- Familiarity with knowledge graph concepts, ontology design, or semantic modeling
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform-based data platforms
- Background in lender/fintech workflow mapping for prescreen, origination, or servicing
