Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Response & Supply Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Order-Based Planning (OBP) and strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PP and MM.

This role requires a senior consultant who can lead end-to-end SAP IBP Response & Supply implementations, drive solution design workshops, perform hands-on configuration, and provide strategic leadership across global supply chain transformation programs.

Important: Candidates must have hands-on experience with Order-Based Planning (OBP). Experience limited to Time Series-based planning will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP IBP Response & Supply implementations, including blueprinting, design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.

• Conduct process assessments, gap analysis, and facilitate solution design workshops with business stakeholders.

• Configure and optimize:

  • Supply Planning Heuristics

  • Supply Optimizer

  • Order-Based Planning (OBP)

  • Pegging Rules (Stable/Dynamic Pegging)

  • Supply Propagation and Response Planning scenarios

  • Transport Load Builder (TLB)

  • Planning Areas and Key Figure Models

• Design and manage integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA using CPI, SDI, and OData services.

• Develop functional specifications and solution blueprints.

• Lead client workshops and provide thought leadership on SAP supply chain best practices.

• Mentor junior consultants and support delivery governance activities.

• Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and estimation exercises.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–15 years of SAP Supply Chain experience.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP Response & Supply.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Order-Based Planning (OBP).

• Experience configuring:

  • Heuristics

  • Supply Optimizer

  • Pegging Rules

  • Supply Propagation

  • Planning Areas

  • Key Figures

  • Transport Load Builder (TLB)

• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA:

  • Materials Management (MM)

  • Production Planning (PP)

  • MRP

  • Capacity Planning

  • Production Order Execution

• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA using CPI, SDI, and OData.

• Experience with constraint-based and demand-driven supply planning.

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

• Experience in Manufacturing, Medical Devices, High-Tech, CPG, or Life Sciences industries.

• Familiarity with Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.

Education & Certifications

Required:

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

• SAP Certified Application Consultant – SAP IBP for Supply and Response.

Preferred:

• SAP S/4HANA Certification in PP or MM.
