Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Kinaxis Functional Consultant to support a US-based client on supply chain planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Kinaxis Rapid Response, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and support functional design, configuration, and implementation of Kinaxis Rapid Response modules

  • Work with business users to gather, analyze, and document supply chain planning requirements
  • Configure planning models, alerts, dashboards, and key performance metrics
  • Support integration between Kinaxis and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data sources, etc.)
  • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Provide post-implementation support, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Prepare functional documentation and conduct user training sessions
  • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Strong functional experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response
  • Hands-on experience in supply chain planning areas such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or S&OP
  • Experience working on end-to-end Kinaxis implementations or major enhancements
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business users
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working with US-based clients and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Kinaxis Certification (added advantage)
  • Prior consulting experience in a client-facing role
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Exposure to data integration concepts and reporting

Job Description – Kinaxis Rapid Response Consultant / Architect.

Location & Travel

Remote

Travel: Up to 25% (expenses paid)

Team: Enterprise IT – Integrated Supply Chain (ITSC)

SUMMARY

This role is responsible for architecting, designing, configuring, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end Supply Chain Planning solutions using Kinaxis Rapid Response as the enterprise standard planning platform. The position requires strong functional and technical expertise across Supply Chain Planning processes—Demand, Supply, Production, SIOP, Inventory Optimization—as well as integration with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.

You will collaborate with business users, global leaders, IT partners, and COEs to analyze business problems, define solutions, lead implementations, and support cross-functional planning capabilities. The role also includes contributing to integration architecture, data modelling, automation, training, and solution governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Design & Architecture

·        Architect, design, and configure Kinaxis Rapid Response solutions, including worksheets, alerts, dashboards, scorecards, metrics, control sets, and data models.

·        Develop integration frameworks between Kinaxis and systems such as SAP, Oracle, CRM, SCM, WMS, EDW, and Servigistics.

·        Create scalable technical and functional documents and solution architectures.

Implementation & Development

·        Lead implementations across modules including Supply Planning, MRP, MPS, Demand Planning, ATP, Capacity Planning, Aggregate Planning, Attribute-Based Planning, S&OP, and After-Market Planning.

·        Execute data integration, interface development, and migration processes.

·        Drive gap analysis, automation opportunities, and process optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Workshops

·        Conduct business workshops to gather requirements and propose best-fit solutions.

·        Collaborate with global teams, enterprise architects, and partners.

·        Ensure compliance with internal frameworks such as SSRs, PIAs, CPSS, and PDTs.

Testing, Support & Governance

·        Lead unit, integration, and performance testing for solutions.

·        Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot system issues.

·        Maintain application versions and support planning system governance.

Leadership & Training

·        Mentor consultants and delivery teams.

·        Conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

·        7–14+ years of Supply Chain Planning experience with Rapid Response implementation.

·        Strong integration experience with ERP systems using APIs, XML, REST/SOAP, and EDI.

·        Led 2–3 full lifecycle implementations.

·        Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Routings, Vendors, Customers, etc.).

·        Experience with cross-functional integration across Manufacturing, Quality, MM, SD, Logistics, Costing.

Skills & Competencies

·        Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to lead workshops and architecture discussions.

·        Experience in global delivery models (India).

·        Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Education & Certifications

·        Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred).

·        APICS and Kinaxis certifications preferred.
