Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL and Python skills to analyze, validate, and visualize data across enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate has experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift, and can translate business questions into actionable insights.

This role sits between business and engineering teams, ensuring data accuracy, clarity, and usability for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets and generate insights

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

• Use Python for data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for business stakeholders

• Analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in structured and semi-structured data

• Work with data engineers to understand ETL pipelines and data models

• Support ad-hoc analysis and recurring reporting needs

• Document metrics definitions, logic, and analytical assumptions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Analytics Analyst

• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions)

• Good experience using Python (pandas, numpy, data analysis libraries)

• Experience with at least one cloud data platform:

  • Azure: Synapse Analytics, ADLS

  • AWS: Redshift, Athena, S3

  • Snowflake

• Strong understanding of data modeling and business metrics

• Experience working with large datasets in a data warehouse environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

• Familiarity with ADF, Airflow, or ETL workflows

• Knowledge of statistics or basic predictive analytics

• Experience with data quality frameworks or automated validations

• Domain experience in healthcare, finance, or retail analytics
