Role Summary
Own the functional design and delivery of Oracle Lease & Finance Management (OLFM) processes for Contract Authoring (from intake to booking) and Termination (early/end-of-term). Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT to translate complex leasing requirements into scalable OLFM configurations, ensuring accurate pricing/streams, compliant accounting, and frictionless period-end processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Configuration
- Lead workshops and fit-gap for Contract Authoring: financial products, terms & conditions, asset/service lines, pricing, and stream generation (rent, residual, principal, interest), taxes, acceptance/booking, assignable rules, pre-funding/security deposits, evergreen.
- Design and configure Termination (early, mid-term, end-of-term): termination quote templates, pay-offs/buyouts, penalties/fees, interest accrual cut-off, residual realisation, repossession/asset return, re-lease paths, and settlement billing.
- Work with Accounting team to help them on SLA/SLA-AMB rules for booking, accruals, billing, disbursements, termination, write-offs, and residual impacts; ensure correct Accounting Orchestrate cross-module flows with AR (billing/receipts/credits), AP (disbursements/prefund/short-fund), FA (operating-lease depreciation/asset disposal), GL, EBTax, and (as needed) OM/Inventory/Credit Management.
Controls, Compliance & Close
- Embed controls for stream-to-journal traceability, termination quote auditability, multi-ledger (IFRS/Local) postings, and contract-level reconciliations.
- Define the period-close playbook (OLFM events SLA GL, FA depreciation where applicable, AR/AP tie-outs) and support audits.
Delivery Leadership
- Produce BRD/MD50/BR100 and configuration runbooks.
- Own test strategy and execution (SIT/UAT) for authoring and termination scenarios; manage defects to closure.
- Support cutover (in-flight contracts, termination backlog), go-live, and hyper-care; mentor analysts and coordinate offshore teams/partners.
Data & Performance
- Guide data migration for contracts, assets, termination history, balances.
- Define KPIs (time-to-book, termination cycle time, billing accuracy, residual realisation) and exception dashboards.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8 12+ years Oracle EBS experience with 5+ years hands-on OLFM; 2+ full cycles leading Contract Authoring and Termination.
- Deep knowledge of Operating vs Finance leases and Loan constructs; strong grasp of streams (rent, residual, principal, interest) and pricing/yield.
- Expert SLA configuration (event classes, JLDs, ADRs, multi-ledger/GAAP) and reconciliation across OLFM/AR/AP/FA/GL.
- Proven delivery of termination processes (quotes, settlements, repossession/return) at scale.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and workshop facilitation.
Nice-to-Have
- Professional accounting background (CA/CPA) and familiarity with IFRS/ASC 842 lessor accounting.
- Experience with Investor Agreements & Pools (for downstream impacts at termination).
- Exposure to ECC dashboards and RICE collaboration (reports/interfaces/conversions).

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required
