Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Design mechanical equipment, assemblies, and components using Autodesk Inventor
- Develop detailed 3D models, production drawings, layouts, and BOMs
- Design fabricated and machined components with manufacturability in mind
- Perform engineering calculations and evaluate designs for fit, function, and reliability
- Collaborate with manufacturing, project, and field teams throughout the design process
- Modify and improve existing equipment based on performance and project requirements
- Support design reviews, troubleshooting, and implementation
- Manage engineering changes and maintain accurate design documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor strongly preferred
- Experience designing mechanical equipment, machinery, or automated systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with welded structures, sheet metal, fabricated components, bearings, shafts, motors, or similar machine components is a plus
- Ability to take projects from concept through detailed design and manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on engineering mindset
