We are seeking an experienced
IT Construction Project Manager to support large-scale construction initiatives where technology and infrastructure requirements intersect with the built environment. This role will serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, construction teams, contractors, and technology partners to ensure technology-related construction deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with project standards.
This is a highly visible, onsite position requiring strong construction management expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to oversee complex projects from planning through installation and completion.
Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Project Leadership- Act as the primary onsite project management representative for technology-related construction activities.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor construction progress and provide updates on risks, issues, and project status.
Design & Construction Coordination- Review project drawings, submittals, RFIs, and design revisions for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure construction activities align with approved designs, specifications, and established standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve field issues and implement solutions.
Quality Assurance & Site Oversight- Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to project plans.
- Identify and address construction risks, deficiencies, and non-compliant installations.
- Validate infrastructure installations, including:
- Structured cabling systems
- Technology pathways and cable management
- Low-voltage infrastructure
- Audio/visual systems
- Device and equipment placements
- Ensure contractors follow applicable construction, safety, and quality standards.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support issue resolution and maintain strong communication among all stakeholders.
- Assist with project reporting, documentation, and schedule management.
Required Qualifications- 8+ years of project management experience within construction environments.
- Strong background in construction management and project execution.
- Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Proficiency with:
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and effectively manage field operations.
Preferred Qualifications- 10+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience supporting technology, healthcare, facilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet and other project management platforms.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- OSHA certification (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
