You'll build professional and technical skills in an engineering role working on challenging, real-world problems to design jet engines for commercial and military applications & support through service life. Build relationships with interns/coops and leaders and prepare for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our fantastic leadership programs or a direct hire opportunity. This specific role is a result of a partnership with the University of Cincinnati's Protg Undergraduate Research Program, which is focused on providing faculty recommended first year engineering students with research opportunities in the industry.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

You will gain exposure to an area in engineering design and analysis as it is related to your field of study as part of the Protg research program through the University of Cincinnati. Examples of experiences include component design, analysis, development and testing, life management, aerodynamics & thermodynamic design, performance, stress analysis, vibration analysis, engine testing, services engineering, engine controls, electric design and materials.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding
  • Full-time matriculated student in the University of Cincinnati Protg program with a degree of Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Computer Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Willingness and ability to work in the United States; primary locations are Cincinnati, OH or Lynn, MA
  • Reliable transportation, many of our sites do not have public transportation available

Benefits:

Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
