Summary

This role focuses on supporting a diverse range of systems, including Office 365, Exchange on-premises, Nutanix, and VMware. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team to manage and optimize these systems while contributing to a significant project involving migration to Nutanix. This position offers the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a dynamic work environment.

Business Purpose: This role serves as a backfill for a previous employee, focusing on supporting the transition from VMware to Nutanix.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and manage various systems including Office 365, Exchange on-premises, Nutanix, and VMware to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Engage in a significant migration project from VMware to Nutanix, contributing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Administer Active Directory, managing user accounts and permissions to maintain security and compliance.
Monitor and manage backups using Rubrik to ensure data integrity and availability for critical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the technology stack.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with Nutanix and VMware in a production environment, showcasing hands-on technical skills.
Strong understanding of Office 365 and Exchange on-premises, including administration and troubleshooting.
Solid experience with Active Directory and NTFS permissions management.
Familiarity with Rubrik and backup management practices to ensure data protection.
Knowledge of Cloudflare and its features is a plus, as well as any experience in mergers and acquisitions.
