Product Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Product Manager to join our client's technology team on a contract-to-hire basis. This individual will play a key role in driving the strategy, development, and optimization of digital products and e-commerce platforms that support business growth and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong AI-first mindset, hands-on experience leveraging artificial intelligence in product management, and a proven background in e-commerce.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-8+ years of product management experience within a technology-driven organization
* Strong e-commerce experience, including ownership of digital products, online purchasing experiences, or customer-facing commerce platforms
* Demonstrated AI-first mindset with practical experience using AI tools and technologies to improve product development, business processes, or customer experiences
* Experience identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions within a product or technology environment
* Proven ability to develop product roadmaps, define requirements, and manage the full product lifecycle
* Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Experience partnering closely with software engineering teams and translating business requirements into technical deliverables
* Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging product metrics, customer insights, and data to drive decision-making
* Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar product management tools
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment
* Ability to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA, three days per week

Preferred:
* Experience with AI-powered product development, generative AI, or AI-enabled customer experiences
* Experience with e-commerce platforms, digital marketplaces, or subscription-based business models
* Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, payment platforms, and enterprise technology environments
* Experience within EdTech, SaaS, digital learning, or professional education
* Background supporting digital transformation, platform modernization, or AI adoption initiatives
* Experience working with geographically distributed engineering and product teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
