OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Information Technologist to support the modernization of software product development through advanced DevSecOps practices. This role involves working with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies-continuous build, integration, testing, deployment, cybersecurity, and metrics-to deliver highly reliable, production-ready solutions.
The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and excels in an Agile development environment. This position offers exposure to diverse engineering groups, cutting-edge tools, and meaningful technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Perform trade studies and evaluate solution alternatives for replacing legacy peer review products
- Lead cross-functional teams through prototyping efforts and alignment with key stakeholders
- Develop and implement production-ready replacements for retiring tools
- Define transition paths and guide teams through tool adoption and integration

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 14+ years of relevant software engineering experience involving Agile methodologies
- OR Master's degree and 12+ years of related experience
- OR PhD and 9+ years of related experience
- Experience using peer review tools (e.g., Atlassian Crucible)
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C, C#, Python, Swift, etc.)
- Experience with at least one change-management/tracking tool (e.g., Jira, ClearQuest, Asana)
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Experience with configuration management systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion)
Preferred Qualifications- Cloud-related certifications at the architect level (AWS, VMware, Azure, Kubernetes)
- Experience applying AI techniques to enhance peer review quality
- Experience designing large-scale cloud architectures
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret
- Current SAP access

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100.00 - $120.00/hr.
