The Cutover Project Manager serves as the primary PMO contact for the cutover workstream on a large-scale Customer Modernization program. This role is responsible for traditional project management activities including planning, scope, dependency, risk/issue, and resource management, with a specialized focus on SAP or large transformational Dress Rehearsal and Cutover activities involving multiple legacy systems in a replacement or integration landscape. The PM acts as the conduit between the workstream team and the broader PMO structure, drives schedule adherence, and facilitates resolution of delays while supporting cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the PMO point of contact (conduit) for the cutover workstream and report through the PMO organization.
  • Own workstream project planning, schedule updates, and coordination with the PMO IPP Program Manager.
  • Manage dependencies, scope, and RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) items; assist team members in preparing for RAID updates.
  • Facilitate resolution of schedule delays and drive creative problem-solving for quality deliverables.
  • Provide weekly status reporting and oversight of resource management in alignment with the workstream lead.
  • Identify, communicate, evaluate, and document potential scope changes using standard procedures; review and adjust plans as needed.
  • Coordinate tasks related to key integrating systems and participate in cross-functional meetings, including Daily Standups as required.
  • Manage Statements of Work for relevant functional areas.
  • Work closely with Edge Analysts, technical teams, vendors, and senior managers on systems integration, workshops, and alignment.
  • Promote collaborative values: encourage healthy conflict, respectful debate, open two-way dialogue, and consult with the Workstream Lead.
  • Understand and provide recommendations related to the current Legacy Remediation process to managers
