Workday Financials Consultant

Fluent English required; French language highly preferred

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant to support global finance operations and ongoing Workday Financials initiatives. This role partners closely with finance stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to support, enhance, and optimize Workday Financials in a multi-entity, international environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Workday Financials experience, deep accounting knowledge across IFRS and French GAAP, fluency in French and English, and practical experience supporting French statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on configuration, support, and enhancement of Workday Financials modules

• Support core financial processes including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Financial Reporting

• Partner with global finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities within Workday

• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support

• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve functional and production issues in Workday Financials

• Support and validate integrations and data flows between Workday and upstream/downstream financial systems

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and French GAAP accounting standards

• Support PCG (Plan Comptable Général) to IFRS mappings, including chart of accounts alignment and reporting consistency

• Ensure FEC (Fichier des Écritures Comptables) readiness, including statutory reporting and audit requirements

• Collaborate with global finance teams across multiple regions and time zones

• Participate in testing cycles, deployments, and post-production support

• Create and maintain functional documentation, user guides, and process documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials

• Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking, and Financial Reporting

• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge

• Proven experience supporting French GAAP

• Hands-on experience with PCG to IFRS mappings

• Experience ensuring FEC compliance and readiness

• Fluent English required; French language highly preferred

• Experience supporting global, multi-entity finance environments

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and finance stakeholders

• Demonstrated experience in production support and functional troubleshooting

• Ability to work independently in a remote, global environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Financials certifications

• Experience supporting multinational or shared services finance organizations

• Exposure to Workday integrations, reporting frameworks, or data conversions

• Prior consulting or Workday implementation experience
