We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in .NET technologies and modern front-end development using Blazor. This role will focus on designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise applications in Windows/.NET platforms, The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills and experience building scalable, high-performance applications.
Job duties include code analysis, migration plan, tech stack upgrades and modernization, code development, code testing, research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, technology evaluation and recommendation. Software Developers must be able to take high-level directions, work with senior engineers to formulate a plan to achieve goals and execute against Stories and Tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure web applications using .NET, C#, and Blazor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, managers and Dev/QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure proper documentation of solutions, processes, and systems
- As part of a Scrum Team, deliver high quality, done work, which is Production ready at the end of each Sprint
Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proficiency in .NET (any recent version) this is non-negotiable.
- Blazor experience .NET Blazor (ideally .NET 10) is a strong differentiator.
- Frontend development comfort working with component-based UI frameworks
- HIPAA training / awareness willingness to complete required compliance training
- AI-assisted development comfort using tools like Microsoft Copilot or Cursor or similar tools for code exploration and productivity.
- Experience with .Net \ .Net Core, C# and the Microsoft stack of technologies.
- Database / Microsoft SQL Server experience is a must.
- Experience with RESTful web services a plus.
- Demonstrated logical and technical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts
- Demonstrated strong judgment and decision-making ability
- Experience in web standards such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as browser capabilities
- Demonstrable knowledge of unit testing back-end business logic.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
