Summary: Provides technical assistance and rapid issue resolution for trading systems, hardware, and applications used by front-office personnel on the trading floor.
Responsibilities: Provide real-time technical support for traders and front-office staff, resolving issues related to trading platforms, market data feeds, hardware, and network connectivity.
Monitor the health and performance of trading systems and escalate incidents as needed.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and networking teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Document recurring issues and contribute to the creation of support guides and knowledge bases.
Ensure minimal downtime and maintain compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
Skills: Experience supporting trading platforms, financial systems, or high-pressure environments. Knowledge of market data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or ICE.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, scripting, and basic networking.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
