Job Title: ArcGIS Analyst
Location: Remote
Client Location : Jersey City or New York City
Duration : Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, monitor, and upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise and related GIS infrastructure
Design, develop, and enhance ArcGIS maps, applications, and dashboards to support operational and strategic needs
Manage and optimize user experience across GIS platforms, ensuring usability and performance
Plan and execute migration of GIS applications and data between environments (e.g., development, staging, production, or cloud/on-prem systems)
Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions to improve stability and performance
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective GIS solutions
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards
Document workflows, configurations, and system changes for ongoing support and knowledge sharing
Required Qualification:
Bachelor s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
5 years of experience working with ArcGIS (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro)
Strong experience in developing and managing GIS applications and web maps
Experience with environment migration, including data, services, and applications
Familiarity with GIS data management, geodatabases, and spatial analysis
Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, ArcPy) is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
