AV Systems Integration/ Travel

The role involves traveling to client sites on Monday mornings and returning home on Thursday evenings. A background in AV and AV walls is highly desirable for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Install and commission various server and large-scale video wall systems as per customer requirements.
• Set up and establish connections between various secondary components to integrate the system components.
• Install software for the integrated solution remotely and on-site at customer locations.
• Configure products, including software settings, database configuration, defining rights and permissions, and defining sources.
• Set up system components at customer sites based on configuration tested during in-house testing and modify as necessary.
• Troubleshoot integrated solutions, addressing hardware and configuration issues, identifying software/OS issues, and reporting bugs to QA.
• Perform duties of an Audio-Visual Technician.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Field Preferred

Experience / Skills / Certifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex TCP/IP network security, routing, and physical network topologies.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills with Dell and other server and client systems.
• Experience performing administrator functions in a Windows environment.
• Experience with Windows software, network, and operating system components.
• Proven communication skills relative to technical products and business issues.
• Experience performing component and interface level integration tests.
• Ability to read and review engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Networking knowledge (OSI layers 2, 3, and 4).
• Experience with video and audio integration in collaborative environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a project team.

Specific Skills / Certifications:

• Preferred Certifications: InfoComm CTS, CompTIA Security+.
• Top Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance preferred or the ability to gain required clearance.
• Travel up to 85% of the time, normally Monday through Friday.
• Must be handy with tools.
• Experience with MS Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, MS Windows 10/11, and MS Office suite.
• Must possess a valid US Driver''s License without restrictions and be able to travel domestically/internationally.
