General Summary
The HR Systems & Fusion Data Intelligence Lead is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, optimization, and continued evolution of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) across The Christ Hospital Health Network.
This role serves as a hands-on functional and technical leader responsible for helping Human Resources maximize the capabilities of the Oracle HCM platform across the entire employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through workforce management, talent, compensation, benefits, performance, development, and offboarding.
The successful candidate will combine deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM functional configuration with strong expertise in Fusion Data Intelligence, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and HR data structures.
This is not solely a reporting or system administration position. The individual must be comfortable working directly within Oracle HCM, configuring modules, evaluating existing configurations, troubleshooting business processes, identifying underutilized functionality, and recommending and implementing improvements.
The Lead will partner closely with HR leadership, HR functional teams, IT, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to improve HR processes, increase adoption of Oracle capabilities, deliver actionable workforce intelligence, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the functional and technical Oracle Fusion HCM subject matter expert for Human Resources.
Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle Fusion HCM modules and related HR technology.
Evaluate the current Oracle HCM environment to identify underutilized functionality, configuration gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve automation and user experience.

Translate HR business requirements into effective Oracle HCM configurations, workflows, business rules, security structures, reporting solutions, and system enhancements.
Review existing HCM configurations and recommend improvements based on Oracle capabilities and HR best practices.
Lead functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production support for HCM enhancements.
Administer and optimize the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence platform for Human Capital Management.
Use in-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and associated reporting technologies including FDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) to design, develop, test, and deploy HR analytics solutions.
Develop and maintain executive dashboards, workforce analytics, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting that provide actionable insight into areas such as:

Leverage knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM data structures and FDI semantic models to troubleshoot complex HR data and reporting requirements.
Provide expert-level support in SQL, data analysis, reporting logic, and troubleshooting when required.
Leverage Oracle FDI embedded machine learning, predictive analytics, and generative AI capabilities to identify opportunities to enhance HR decision-making.
Explore new Oracle capabilities and recommend ways HR can leverage automation, AI, analytics, and self-service functionality to improve employee and manager experiences.
Partner with HR leaders to establish meaningful HR metrics and ensure dashboards provide actionable business insight rather than simply reporting transactional data.
Oversee HR data integration processes, including data loads, validation, interfaces, synchronization, and reconciliation with downstream and upstream systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve HCM system, configuration, workflow, integration, data, security, and reporting issues.
Partner with security teams to manage HCM user access, roles, privileges, and data security in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Support Oracle quarterly updates by evaluating new functionality, performing impact assessments, coordinating testing, communicating changes, and recommending capabilities that should be adopted.
Maintain awareness of the Oracle HCM product roadmap and proactively identify functionality that can deliver value to HR and the organization.
Establish and maintain HR data governance, data quality standards, business definitions, and reporting consistency.
Maintain documentation including system configurations, business processes, functional specifications, workflows, integrations, security structures, reporting definitions, and user guides.
Lead training, knowledge transfer, and mentorship for HR team members and system users to increase internal Oracle HCM capabilities.
Develop internal super-users / power users within HR so the organization becomes increasingly self-sufficient in its use of Oracle.
Serve as the primary liaison between Human Resources and IT for Oracle HCM and HR analytics initiatives.
Work directly with Oracle and external implementation partners when specialized expertise is required while maintaining internal ownership of the platform.
Essential Functions
Perform day-to-day functional administration and hands-on configuration of Oracle Fusion HCM.
Serve as an internal expert capable of understanding both HR business processes and how those processes are configured within Oracle Fusion HCM.
Assess existing HCM functionality and identify opportunities to increase utilization of the Oracle platform.
Configure and optimize modules, workflows, approvals, business processes, security, and employee/manager self-service capabilities.
Perform day-to-day administration of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence for HCM.
Ensure system availability, performance, data integrity, and reliability for business-critical HR processes and reporting.
Execute and monitor HR data refreshes, integrations, interfaces, and workflows.
Analyze and resolve data discrepancies, system issues, configuration problems, and reporting inconsistencies.
Develop and support workforce dashboards, analytics, KPIs, and executive reporting.
Enable and support self-service analytics while maintaining appropriate governance controls.
Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes using existing Oracle capabilities.
Lead testing and adoption of new Oracle HCM functionality.
Communicate effectively with HR executives, functional HR professionals, business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Information Systems, Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field. Required.
Master’s Degree or advanced HR/technology certification. Preferred.
Work Experience
7+ years of experience working with enterprise Human Capital Management systems, HR technology, HRIS, or related platforms. Required.
5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM experience, including functional configuration, implementation, optimization, or production support. Strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience personally configuring Oracle HCM modules, not solely managing vendors or implementation partners. Required.
Experience supporting multiple stages of the employee lifecycle within Oracle Fusion HCM. Required.
Experience working with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence / FDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and/or ADW. Strongly preferred.
Experience participating in or leading at least one significant Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, transformation, upgrade, or optimization initiative. Strongly preferred.
Experience working within a healthcare organization or health system. Preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Deep functional understanding of Human Resources processes across the employee lifecycle.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM configuration.
Ability to move fluidly between HR business requirements, Oracle configuration, data structures, reporting, analytics, and user experience.
Strong understanding of multiple Oracle HCM modules and how they interact across end-to-end HR processes.

High level of proficiency in interpreting and optimizing Oracle FDI/OAC semantic models and HCM subject areas.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability across configurations, workflows, integrations, reporting, and data pipelines.
Ability to translate HR business problems into practical technology solutions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to HR leaders and business stakeholders.
Ability to challenge existing processes constructively and recommend better ways to utilize the Oracle platform.
Ability to operate independently and personally solve problems within the system rather than relying exclusively on consultants or external vendors.
Strong project management, organization, documentation, and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor HR team members and increase internal system knowledge.
Ability to work effectively across Human Resources, IT, Finance, Payroll, Operations, and executive leadership.
Preferred Certifications
Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementation or functional certification.
Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Implementation Professional.
Oracle Analytics Cloud Professional.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or comparable HR certification is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an Oracle HCM practitioner, not simply an administrator or reporting developer.
They understand HR, understand Oracle, and know how to connect the two.
They have personally configured Oracle HCM modules, understand how data flows across the employee lifecycle, can diagnose why a process or module is not delivering the expected value, and are comfortable going directly into the system to improve it.
They can sit with an HR leader to understand a business problem, determine whether Oracle already has functionality to address it, configure or help configure the solution, and then build the analytics necessary to measure whether the change is delivering results.
Success in this position will ultimately be measured by the organization’s ability to use more of the Oracle HCM capabilities it already owns, reduce manual processes, improve the employee and manager experience, develop stronger workforce intelligence, and build greater internal HCM
