Title: Network Engineer

Location: Downtown Denver, onsite
Salary Range: 140-160K + bonus
Summary
The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and ongoing support of wired and wireless networks, while proactively maintaining system stability and availability across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support enterprise-level LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments
- Install, configure, and manage network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network health and resolve connectivity, performance, and availability issues
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, patches, and security updates to network systems
- Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to align network solutions with operational needs
- Implement and enforce network security controls and ensure compliance with data protection standards
- Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, procedures, and system changes
- Provide technical guidance and support to end users and assist with mentoring junior team members
- Participate in after-hours support and occasional travel as business needs require
Skills
- Strong experience with network architecture, routing protocols, and enterprise wireless technologies
- Hands-on expertise configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software
- Solid understanding of IT service management practices and cybersecurity principles
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and tools
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and performing under changing or high-pressure conditions
