Job Details

We are seeking an Intellectual Property Associate / Patent Attorney with a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering to join our growing practice.

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact, sophisticated matters involving patent prosecution, IP strategy, and complex transactions, while collaborating closely with clients ranging from emerging companies to institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications, particularly in electrical engineering-related technologies
Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and landscape analyses
Support IP strategy development aligned with client business objectives
Assist with IP due diligence in connection with M&A, investments, and other transactions
Advise clients on portfolio management, licensing, and commercialization strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters

Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar admission (or ability to waive into jurisdiction)
Registered with the USPTO
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
2+ years of relevant patent experience (law firm preferred)
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
