Job Description

Venteon is currently seeking a Director of Engineering to fill an opening with a company located in Montgomery, AL.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Direct hire opportunity with a high-priority need for a Director of Engineering.

Hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work from home as needed.

Oversee and direct construction and maintenance projects related to multiple toll bridges in Alabama.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Overseeing and directing construction and maintenance projects for toll bridges in Alabama.

Managing relationships and communications with ALDOT and other relevant parties.

Providing leadership and strategic direction for engineering initiatives.

Ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable regulations.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

Bachelor s degree in Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama.

Experience working with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).

Background in overseeing construction and maintenance projects, ideally related to bridges or similar infrastructure.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Civil Engineering.
