Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mac Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MacOS server administration, automation, and security compliance, and a proven ability to maintain and harden Mac servers in a data center environment while resolving network configuration issues and streamlining patch management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage MacOS servers, including configuration, patching schedules, and compliance in a data center environment.
- Collaborate with the MacSupport Team to implement server management plans and ensure operational readiness.
- Automate software patch installations and security updates using scripting tools.
- Oversee DHCP and server IP configuration, and resolve network identification and IP conflicts.
- Support managed OS environments, software packaging, and installation for secure and efficient operations.
- Ensure servers meet organizational security standards and are running required security software and OS versions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of server administration concepts.
- Proficiency with MacOS server scripting and automation of software and security patching.
- Strong knowledge of DHCP, server IP configuration, and resolution of network identification/IP conflicts.
- Experience with managed OS, software packaging, and installation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Proven experience as a Server Administrator with MacOS servers.
- Proficiency in server configuration and scripting.
- Knowledge of Workspace ONE, Tanium, Jamf, and related access and security profile configuration tools.
- Knowledge of server virtualization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Experience level: 5+ years in relevant roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience administering iOS in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum collaboration practices.
Role Logistics & Notes
- Hybrid schedule. Onsite day 1 and at least 3 days per week onsite.
- Glider ID verification required.
- Max 3 submissions per vendor.
