Job Title: IT Field Services Technician/Desktop Support Specialist

Location: Hammond, LA

Work Category: Hybrid (Travel to Onsite or nearby locations as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with desktop support tasks like software/hardware installs, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.
• Set up, relocate, and configure workstations, desktops, and laptops.
• Troubleshoot and manage network or electrical cabling in tight spaces (e.g., under desks).
• Install print drivers, software applications, and use remote support tools.
• Handle ServiceNow tickets for requests and incidents.
• Document all tasks accurately.
• Support data transfers, IT asset recovery, and decommissioning.
• Deliver great customer service onsite.

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in IT/technical support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and simple networks (LAN/WAN).
• Comfort working in tight spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs. for IT equipment.
• Strong communication skills for customers and teams.
• Experience with ServiceNow or any ticketing system is a plus.
• Willing to travel locally as needed:

• For Hammond, LA, candidates: Nearby sites and the Baton Rouge area.

• A+ certification is recommended but not required.
