Position Overview

Seeking an experienced .NET MVC / C# Software Developer to support modernization, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise web and service-based applications. This role will focus on rewriting legacy components, implementing critical security updates, and supporting object-oriented applications in a secure, high-availability environment.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, QA analysts, and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with established architectural and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transform business requirements into technical design and programming specifications
Develop and support ASP.NET MVC applications using C#
Modernize existing applications and implement security updates
Build, deploy, and test software modules using automated tools
Execute unit and integration testing
Review and support QA test cases and test plans
Develop enterprise solutions aligned with established development and security patterns
Recommend and implement cost-effective technical solutions
Support CI/CD automation processes
Provide knowledge transfer and technical documentation
Communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders

Required Experience & Skills

7+ years developing ASP.NET MVC applications using C#
5+ years experience with Unit Testing (NUnit or equivalent)
5+ years experience using Entity Framework
5+ years experience developing Windows Services using .NET 5.0 or above
5+ years experience developing REST and/or SOAP web services
5+ years experience developing SQL Server stored procedures
Strong experience writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Web API development
Experience triaging and resolving complex software issues
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Bootstrap (v4 or v5) and jQuery
Experience with XML schemas and XSLT
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline automation
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts
Experience working in highly regulated environments
Experience supporting law enforcement, public safety, or justice-related systems
