POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Inadev is seeking a strong Systems Administrator to support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of complex IT systems, including infrastructure management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and second-level problem resolution across production and non-production environments. This role requires hands-on expertise in Federal Government data center environments, cloud and on-prem architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, and Windows/Linux systems, with experience leading system design, implementation, upgrades, and ongoing operational support.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client problems.
- Provides second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US Cit.
- Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2-3 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Northern Virginia/DC/MD area as required.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science (or related IT field or equivalent education).
- Must have at least 8 years of relevant Systems Administration experience.
- Must have previous hands-on experience leading the planning, design, and implementation for network, computing and storage technologies.
- Must have previous hands-on experience with design documents, architecture plans, construction of infrastructure systems and applications.
- Must have previous hands-on experience as the technical lead in the design and installation of cloud-based non-production and production systems.
- Must have previous hands-on experience managing existing hardware/software configurations and documenting solutions, including build and maintenance plans.
- Must have previous hands-on experience installing O/S releases and system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches and resolving software-related problems.
- Must have previous hands-on experience maintaining files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Must have previous hands-on experience proactively managing and supporting all non-production and production environments.
- Must have previous hands-on experience providing technical support required to maintain configuration control files.
- Must have previous hands-on experience identifying and resolving errors or problems with existing programs.
- Must be a subject matter expert and strong working level knowledge of: Network Architecture (WAN/LAN/Capacity Planning / Data Center Topologies), Database Technologies and Storage Architecture.
- Must possess strong technical knowledge of operating systems including Windows/Linux (RedHat).
- Must have previous hands-on experience and possess strong technical knowledge of Virtualization technologies (AppLogic, VMWare) and Web Server technologies (IIS, Apache)
- Must have previous hands-on experience and possess strong technical knowledge of one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware.
- Must have previous hands-on experience with Federal Government Data Center environments, configurations, and processes in order to effectively support the implementation.
