NetScaler Load Balancer Administrator

 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced NetScaler Load Balancer Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize Citrix NetScaler environments, with a strong focus on load balancing and application delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of load balancing solutions, content switching, and remote access technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize load balancing, content switching, and application delivery policies.
Implement and maintain NetScaler Gateway for secure remote access. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NetScaler load balancing policies for applications and services.
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of NetScaler appliances.
Configure SSL offloading, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Implement and enforce security policies, including access controls and WAF (Web Application Firewall) configurations.
Maintain NetScaler firmware updates, patches, and version upgrades.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams.
Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability.
Ability to work over the weekend and off-peak hours for maintenance.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor''''s & degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience working with Citrix NetScaler (ADC) administration.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, etc.).
Expertise in NetScaler load balancing, content switching, and GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing).
Experience with NetScaler Gateway and authentication mechanisms (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, etc.).
Hands-on experience with NetScaler CLI and GUI management.

Familiarity with web security best practices, including DDoS mitigation, WAF, and SSL/TLS encryption.
Experience integrating NetScaler with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Citrix Certified Associate – Networking (CCA-N)
Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCP-N)
Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification (preferred)
