Now Hiring | Software Principal EngineerLocation: Raymond, OH | Pay: $61.58-$62.00/hr.We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer - Technical Lead to support the design, development, and delivery of advanced UX-focused software systems. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and project oversight across full-stack, cloud-connected applications.
The ideal candidate will contribute to architecture decisions, guide junior engineers, and ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and testing of UX-focused software applications
- Develop cloud-based and internet-connected systems using full-stack methodologies
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support architecture planning, system integration, and module design decisions
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed in all development efforts
- Troubleshoot complex software and system integration issues
- Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions
- Contribute to technical documentation, planning, and project execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, and C++
- Full-stack development experience (front-end + back-end integration)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to balance hands-on coding with technical leadership responsibilities

- Experience mentoring software engineers in a production environment
- Strong GUI development experience with modern frameworks
- Background in system integration and debugging complex applications
