Title: Security Architect
Duration: 12 months (possible 1 2-year extension)
Location: Toronto, ON- Hybrid (flexible; typically, 2 4 day's onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $90-$93/Hour
Interview Process: 2 Rounds- First round virtual and Second round potentially in-person
Must-Have Experience:
- 10+ years experience as a Security Architect or equivalent senior role.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity strategy, implementation, and monitoring.
- Strong enterprise architecture exposure.
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST CSF).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure environments.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with hundreds of applications, multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), third-party SaaS providers, and complex database landscapes (20+ databases across PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, AWS RDS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience securing modern cloud and platform environments, including Linux backends, Kubernetes/EKS, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Strong experience working within a tech stack (MS shop) while supporting hybrid and cloud-native infrastructure across multiple platforms.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Consulting or advisory background.
- Experience operating in large-scale enterprise organizations.
- Exposure to Zero Trust, DLP, SOAR, IAM, CASB.
- AI Exposure: Experience working with AI-enabled environments or security considerations for AI platforms is strongly preferred.
