Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Analyst to join our team and take charge of our quality assurance processes. In this role, you will oversee both manual and automation testing efforts, spearhead QA projects, and mentor a team of QA analysts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in both manual and automation testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage QA activities for both manual and automated testing processes.
• Develop, document, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct thorough manual testing where automation is not applicable.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test coverage.
• Mentor and guide QA team members, promoting best practices in testing and automation.
• Analyze test results and provide metrics and reports on the quality and health of the product.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methods to enhance the quality assurance lifecycle.
• Coordinate and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years of lead experience, is required.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and strategies.
• Solid experience with automation tools required.
• Strong experience with Postman, Tosca, and Swagger for API testing and ICEDQ for ETL/data quality
• Experience in creating and managing automation frameworks for UI testing.
• Experience in performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla, and test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar would be a plus
• Hands-on experience in manual testing, including black-box and white-box testing
• Experience in cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience in AI initiatives in P&C Insurance industry is a huge plus
