What You'll Be Doing
  • Driving the DBA organization's strategy globally for Databases (On-premise and Cloud), Operational Support, Automation, Performance, Data Management, and Database Security across Arrow
  • Leading and growing the Database organization and partnering with internal business partners and security teams.
  • Leads the consolidation and modernization of database architecture. Manages new project implementations for database deployment and data migration.
  • Leads Database Design by collaborating closely across multiple Application and Infrastructure Teams within Arrow through implementation and maintenance, consolidation, project planning, audit/compliance, security, and budget governance with the intent to arrive at optimal business solutions within the constraints of time, cost and existing technology platforms.
  • Provide leadership in Database Architecture with strong insights from Oracle Database technologies, SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and other common databases
  • Promotes the Database Administration disciplines through the development of effective standards and governance to maximize the re-use of application systems and shared services and reducing time and risks in project delivery.
  • Direct, monitor and mentor on methodology, tools, templates, standards, policies, and procedures. Lead vendor management activities including selection, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Execute and set the example of appropriate project management oversight by overseeing multiple projects in assigned areas of discipline.
  • Demonstrate expert technical proficiency by providing high level technical guidance to internal business and staff.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal partners to establish strategic plans, meet critical objectives and identify & solve issues.

What We Are Looking For:
  • +10 years of related experience in similar roles Data Architect/Manager, Database Manager.
  • Proven experience in Oracle Database Administration, deep understanding of interconnects with Oracle Applications ERP, and Microsoft Database expertise expected.
  • Incident management and Cyber threat experience
  • Knowledge of technology platforms and interdependencies with hardware and software platforms used within the business
  • Strong leadership skills as a change agent using influence and inspiration in addition to developing multi-disciplined work teams
  • Ability to work across multiple levels of the organization from developers to senior leadership
  • Ability to create white papers that clearly state the advantages and ROI for new technology investments
  • Proven process improvement capabilities demonstrating the ability to proactively identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Strong customer-oriented approach and ability to influence others to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Requires the ability to influence and manage across IT Groups and geographies working with many different ERP systems, vendors and consulting partners with various complexities.

  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in the Denver, Panorama, Offices.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$143,100.00 - $180,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
