Job Summary

We are seeking a Golang Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for a high-traffic eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Golang, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud-native development, with exposure to high-performance distributed systems used in online retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using Golang.

• Build and maintain microservices architecture supporting core eCommerce functionalities such as product catalog, order management, payment processing, inventory, and checkout services.

• Develop RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend applications, third-party services, and payment gateways.

• Optimize backend services for high scalability, low latency, and high availability.

• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB for transactional and product data.

• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable features.

• Ensure security best practices, data protection, and API authentication mechanisms.

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews.

• Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Golang (Go).

• Experience building scalable backend services or microservices.

• Expertise in REST API development.

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.

• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.

• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on large-scale eCommerce platforms.

• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

• Experience with Redis or caching strategies.

• Exposure to search technologies such as Elasticsearch.

• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
