Your Contribution
  • As a Web Development Intern at MAHLE, you will assist our development team in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our websites and web applications. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills in a professional setting and gain practical experience with core web technologies including PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new and existing web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Integrate front-end designs with back-end services and databases (SQL Server/Express) to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software defects and issues on web-based systems under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers in a team environment to understand project requirements and contribute to design and code reviews.
  • Ensure web content is accessible and functional across various web browsers and devices, applying responsive design principles.
  • Update and edit website content using internal content management systems (CMS) where necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies.

Your Experience & Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
  • Foundational understanding and coursework experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Familiarity with database management concepts and SQL.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git, is highly beneficial.
