Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled BDD – Python Engineer with strong automation and data validation expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Python-based automation frameworks, and cloud-based data validation in AWS environments. This role requires someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable leveraging modern AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation solutions using Python for data validation and reconciliation
• Write and maintain BDD feature files and corresponding step definitions (glue code)
• Implement automation frameworks and scalable test solutions
• Perform data reconciliation, report validation, and report testing
• Work with AWS services including S3, Lambda, and related cloud concepts
• Analyze existing code (reverse engineering) to understand functionality and quickly build effective test cases
• Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to refactor, debug, and optimize automation code
• Identify testing challenges early and proactively propose solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing / BDD Frameworks
• Strong proficiency in Python automation
• Hands-on experience with BDD tools and frameworks
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud concepts (S3, Lambda, etc.)
• Strong experience in data validation and testing
• Ability to quickly understand complex codebases and create test coverage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
