Job Summary

B&A is seeking a HR Business Applications and Solutions Software Systems Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Human Resources Management (HRM) Applications Information Technology (IT) Sustainment Support effort. This is an off-site position with periodic support for meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Anticipated Start: January 2027

Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 2 Option Years

Salary Range: $135,000-$185,000

Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security requirements, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location

Off-Site / Contractor Place of Performance

Note: Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other places of performance in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

Formulate/define specifications for complex operating software programming applications; modify and maintain complex applications.

Design, code, test, debug, and document programs; perform operating system maintenance; support software systems programming; evaluate software products.

Education and Experience

At least five (5) years of relevant experience.

Experience with federal Human Resources IT systems.

Required Certifications

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification

One of the following Computing Environment certifications/credentials:
  • CompTIA Linux+
  • Red Hat System Administrator I (RH SA I)
  • Oracle Certified Professional - Database (OCP DB)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (MC: Azure AA)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (MC: Azure SEA)

Security Clearance / Investigation

Active Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years
