Position: Guidewire Developer

Location; Chicago IL

 

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 10+ years of experience.
  • Guidewire development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite
  • Experience with Gosu programming language
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Data Model PCF Rules Engine and Batch Processes
  • Experience with REST APIs SOAP Web Services XML and JSON
  • Proficiency in Java and SQL
  • Experience with Git Jenkins CICD pipelines and Agile methodologies

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure Guidewire applications using Gosu
  • Customize Guidewire PolicyCenter ClaimCenter andor BillingCenter
  • Design and implement integrations using REST SOAP and messaging frameworks
  • Develop business rules workflows UI screens and data models
  • Perform code reviews unit testing and defect resolution
  • Collaborate with business analysts architects and QA teams
  • Support application deployments and production issue resolution
  • Ensure adherence to Guidewire and organizational development standards
