Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Important: State Government experience is MANDATORY. Candidates without State Government experience will not be considered.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale statewide IT modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise IT projects, cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, vendors, and complex implementations from initiation through successful delivery.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
- 5+ years managing multiple large, complex enterprise programs/projects
- 7+ years creating project roadmaps and portfolio planning
- 5+ years developing business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and market analysis
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Strong experience with project planning, risk management, scheduling, quality assurance, testing, communications, and stakeholder management
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- North Carolina State Government experience
- Public Health domain experience
- Experience leading statewide IT implementations
- Legacy system modernization and data migration experience
- Experience collaborating with State and Local Government agencies
