Job Details

This role offers the opportunity to represent developers, property owners, and investors in navigating complex zoning, permitting, and development matters across Florida.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with local governments and regulatory agencies and a strong understanding of land use entitlements and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on zoning, land use, and development regulations
Represent clients in obtaining entitlements, including rezonings, variances, special exceptions, and site plan approvals
Appear before municipal boards, commissions, and local government agencies
Draft and negotiate development agreements and related land use documents
Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions involving land use considerations
Collaborate with real estate, environmental, and litigation teams on multidisciplinary matters

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar admission
5+ years of experience in land use, zoning, or real estate law
Experience working with local government agencies and entitlement processes
Strong knowledge of Florida land use and zoning regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively
