About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled
IT Solutions Engineer / Test Lead to support a multi-year modernization initiative involving several hundred systems. This is a
hands-on, hybrid role blending leadership, architecture, testing, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate has experience with
AI-driven testing, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate across engineering, architecture, SRE, and product teams.
You will join the
GRS Quality Engineering (GRS-QE) organization to design, implement, and scale modern Quality Engineering solutions focused on Gen-AI automation, performance engineering, observability, and data validation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of quality engineering solutions aligned with enterprise architectural standards and strategic technology roadmaps.
- Partner with SRE to embed observability (metrics, logs, traces) into tests and quality gates to improve incident readiness and MTTR.
- Drive Gen-AI/LLM initiatives, including autonomous test-case generation, self-healing tests, and AI-driven defect triage.
- Guide Agile squads on modern quality practices: Shift-Left, DevTestOps, contract testing, performance engineering, and data validation.
- Integrate and optimize tools/platforms: PractiTest, LambdaTest, LoadRunner, UIPath, and more.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable testing architectures and automation frameworks.
- Support incident management, RCA, and post-mortems; propose improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with global teams to streamline quality practices, drive standards, and support continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers and promote testing best practices across distributed teams.
- Apply DevTestOps, IaC, and design-thinking principles to improve speed, quality, and reliability.
- Stay updated with Gen-AI, cloud-native patterns, containers, microservices, and observability trends to bring innovation into practice.
- Document architectures, frameworks, and QOE strategy for long-term maintainability.

Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on software or quality engineering experience with demonstrated leadership.
- Proven experience building and integrating enterprise-scale automation frameworks in AWS environments.
- Hands-on expertise with two or more testing tools: Playwright, UIPath, RestAssured, Postman, Pact.
- Strong experience embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, Docker/K8s, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools: k6, JMeter, LoadRunner.
- Experience with observability tools (DataDog).
- Exposure to Gen-AI/LLM-based testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and upskill engineering teams.
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Testing, Observability) are a plus.
