Key Responsibilities

Software Development

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting the benefits renewal ecosystem.
Build scalable, reliable, and secure software components within a cloudnative environment.
Write clean, maintainable, and welltested code following engineering best practices.

API & Integration Work

Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate data pipelines and backend services.
Ensure seamless communication between systems within the Aetna/CVS architecture.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

Work within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to build and deploy services.
Leverage cloudnative tools and services to optimize performance and scalability.
Participate in CI/CD workflows and automated deployment processes.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Flask, FastAPI, or similar API frameworks or Java frameworks like SpringBoot

5+ years of experience with Python

3+ years of experience with build automation technologies

3+ years of software development in enterprise/web/cloud applications

Preferred

Experience with Java

Experience with relational/NoSQL databases. Knowledge to Google Cloud Platform cloud stores(Spanner , BigTable) is a plus.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform preferably, but alternatively Azure or AWS
